Mighty Plugs

Mighty Plugs,this is what I will be reviewing in this post. Now before you go ahead and dismiss this post as dull or of no interest to you please read on and I promise that you just might be pleasantly surprised.

                     As I have previously stated one of my favourite things to do is review products that to most seem boring because those quote on quote boring product are often the most useful ones and useful products in my opinion need to be of good quality and these earplugs are just that , a very useful and high quality product.

Now for my opinions on the product. This being the 3rd product I have had the pleasure of reviewing for 180 Cosmetics I am once again very pleased with the type of product received and it's performance. if I was to compare it to the only other serum of this kind I tried I would most likely choose this one since I love what this company stands for or represents. The cost is on par with all other serums I have seen so the choice is yours in the end but I 100 % recommend this serum and of course any product from this brand 

24 k Paradise

I am here to review what I consider to be the Most luxurious product I have ever come across in my life and that is ISA Professional Xanadu 24 k gold serum, that is right you read it correctly, 24 k gold can be found and visibly seen in this serum. 

                                                                      I must confess that when I was accepted to review this product for my honest opinion I was floored simply because  of a few reasons the first being that it is such a luxury product secondly the cost of it and thirdly I believed it to be quite frankly out of my depths as a reviewer being that it is not something I would have ever sought out or purchased myself. That all being said I did in fact receive it and now after using it for over a week I am ready to give you all my review. 

                                          Xanadu is as I stated the most luxurious serum that I have ever come across. It is formulated with a combination of organic ingredients, high tech science and of course 24 k real gold. ( as per stated on the packaging ) The claims that it boasts are as follows 

- Moisturise

- Reduce the appearance of wrinkles

- Even skin tone

- Repair sun damage 

- Give you a golden natural glow 

                                                     Now for the actual review part. Moisturise ? yes I do feel that it does in fact moisturise and retain the moisture in my skin for what I would consider most of the day. 

Reduce the appearance of wrinkles ? nothing immediate or visible to me after 1 + weeks of use but perhaps in the long run, Even skin tone ? Not at all for me, this is one thing that I have not noticed at all. Repair sun damage ? this type of claim is one you have to lay your faith in because not all of all have visible sun damage. Gives you a natural glow ? again something I myself in using this serum struggled with which is quite odd being that this is the one claim I would expect to shine through seeing that it in fact contains 24 k gold. I do however want to add one thing  I did notice is that my skin has the appearance of looking firmer at least for a short term after application, why ? I do not know but I thought it was worthy of being mentioned. 

                                                                                                    Now for my overall thoughts on this serum. I would give it a 3.5 to 4 stars out of 5. It is a good serum but for the hefty price tag I expect more. It does for the most part what it claims, it has a nice non sticky formula that absorbs quickly and do not get me started on the exquisite packaging. I like this serum but truth be told I think women or men over 45 or 50  would get better use out of it. If you are in the market for a luxury serum Xanadu is for you without a doubt and once you see the pictures listed below you to will want to get your hands on some. 

                                         

The Gatekeeper's Trilogy

I am not the greatest when it comes to reviewing books but for this particular book I had to make an exception. Please note that I did in fact receive it for consideration and my honest review.

                      As I just mentioned I am not in any way very good at reviewing books add to that the fact that despite my love for stories and literature I am not a voracious reader in the least.This book or should I say series however is right up my alley and although I will not truly review the contents of the book so not to reveal any crucial information I will say that it is quite brilliantly written and delivered without being drawn out and boring especially considering that this is a series and not a singular book.   

This particular book series peeked my interest being that it centers around mythology and at times reminded me of the Percy Jackson novels without of course being the same. That comparison is a compliment since I am a huge fan of that book / movie series. 

                                            The book centers around a teen that gets entangled with the gods of Mount Olympus. As stated by the author herself this story is Part paranormal romance and part adventure story, this trilogy follows Therese’s adventures as she struggles to overcome the challenges the gods dish her in her quest to become like them. Follow Therese’s adventures as she strives to become a goddess in the ancient Greek pantheon.

                                                I truly do not wish to say any more about this wonderful trilogy other than I am sure you will enjoy it as I did. If you like adventure, mythology and well written and well delivered stories this book series will be sure keep you coming back for the next instalment.

So it seems that for the first time in a long time I just might be ahead of the curb when it comes to fitness products with this next item. I am of course speaking of the Master of Muscle foam roller.

                                          The Master of Muscle is in fact a large foam roller, made to endure the rigorous use it must endure from our bodies. Now perhaps that sounds quite odd but when I explain how it is used all will make much more sense.

To use The Master Of Muscle effectively it all falls on you the user, essentially you are the the mechanism to the tool. you can find included with this item a chart on how to effectively use it ( picture below ) 

                                                         The Master of Muscle is also know as or can be used as the following and here they are in no particular order

                                                                                                               I have to agree with most of the above except perhaps for the travel companion part because although lightweight it is somewhat large and does not always fit easily into certain areas but then again that depends on what type of travelling you are planning on. As for the workout buddy and core smasher I wholeheartedly agree  it is a great addition to any workout and you will definitely feel your core being worked out. regarding the personal masseuse statement i am a bit on the fence and believe that depending on how you use it or what you consider to be a massage you might be disappointed but then again maybe not I think each user will have a different opinion on that one. 

                                              

                                                                                               Although The Master of Muscle seems like a very simple and foolproof fitness tool I am here to tell you that it requires you to be somewhat fit, have a good balance and you will have to live through quite a learning curve to get the best use out of it. I speak from experience since when I first tried it thinking it would be easy I fell flat on my butt and the Master of Muscle just stood there unmoved as if laughing at me.     

     

                                                                 My final thoughts on this item is that it could and would make a great addition to any fitness routine you might have going on, as for ease of use it does have a learning curve so do not underestimate it and lastly it will easily store away and not use up to much room.

As I  sit here to write this post I am somewhat at a loss on where to start since ( spoiler alert ) I absolutely adore this product.
